Comparing SharePoint Online Plan 1 and 2

In Blog by Ivan Wilson

There are two different SharePoint Online plans, with creative names of “SharePoint Online Plan 1” and “SharePoint Online Plan 2”. These are useful if you don’t need the other Office 365 services such as Exchange and Skype for Business (previously Lync).

Microsoft have a page – SharePoint Online Service Descriptions – that lists out the features available across all plans. But sometimes you just want to know what the difference is between two plans.

Here is a list of the features that you get with SharePoint Online Plan 2 but not with SharePoint Online Plan 1. You can get more details about each of these features by clicking on their name in the SharePoint Online Descriptions page
